What you get

A handheld compressor with its own battery, so there is no cable to run to the dashboard and no coins for the petrol-station pump. Choose the target pressure on the display (bar, PSI or kPa), press start, and it switches off when the tyre gets there. A typical car tyre goes from 2.0 to 2.5 bar in around 2 minutes; from flat, about 8. One charge tops up four car tyres. Adapters for bicycle valves, balls and inflatables are included, and an LED lamp helps at the roadside at night. Maximum pressure 10.3 bar (150 PSI). Recharges over USB-C in about 3 hours.

    I keep it in the boot now. Set 2.3 bar, press the button, it stops alone. All four tyres on my Octavia took about ten minutes in total and the battery still showed two bars. The light helped because of course I did it in the evening.
