MarketSaves

Cookie Policy

The shop works with four small entries in your browser's storage and no cookies of its own. Advertising cookies from Google Ads and the Meta pixel are set only if you say yes, and you can change your mind at any time from the footer.

1Cookies and browser storage in two lines

A cookie is a small text file that a website saves in your browser and that is sent back to the site, or to a third party, on later requests. Local storage is similar, but it stays in your browser and is read only by the pages of the site that wrote it.

MarketSaves itself uses local storage only, and only for things the shop needs in order to work. Cookies appear only if you accept advertising, and then they are set by the Google and Meta tags described below. This site is operated by WHATECH MOBILE CO., LIMITED; see the Privacy Policy for how personal data are handled in general.

2Stored without asking: what the shop needs to work

These entries are needed to provide the service you ask for, so the law does not require consent for them. They contain no advertising identifiers and are not shared with anyone.

mks_consent_v1

Type
Local storage · this site only
Purpose
Remembers your cookie choice: advertising yes or no, statistics yes or no, and when you chose. Without it the choice card would reappear on every page.
Kept for
Until you change your choice or clear the site data in your browser.

mks_last_order

Type
Local storage · this site only
Purpose
Holds a short record of the order you have just placed (reference, time, total, quantity, product, first name, phone number, country) so that the confirmation page can show it to you. It is written only after the order has been accepted.
Kept for
Until your next order replaces it or you clear the site data.

mks_reported_<order time>

Type
Local storage · this site only
Purpose
A one-character marker saying that an order has already been counted, so that reloading the confirmation page does not count it twice.
Kept for
Until you clear the site data.

mks_seen

Type
Local storage · this site only
Purpose
Reserved for the list of products you opened recently, so that the shop can show them to you again when that feature is switched on. It stays on your device and is not sent to us.
Kept for
Until you clear the site data; only the most recent products are kept.

The order and contact forms also request a one-time security token when the page loads. It protects the forms against forged submissions, lives in the page's memory only, stops being valid within a day and is never written to your browser's storage.

4The "Statistics" switch

The second switch in the cookie choice controls audience measurement through the Google tag (what Google calls analytics storage). At the moment no separate statistics service runs on this site, so the switch has no visible effect. If we add one, it will be listed here before it is switched on and it will run only for visitors who have accepted this category.

5What happens before you choose

Until you make a choice, and after you choose "Reject all", everything optional is off. The Meta pixel is not loaded at all. The Google tag is loaded in its restricted consent mode with advertising and analytics storage denied: in that state it does not write or read cookies and cannot recognise your browser from one visit to the next. It may still send Google basic, cookieless signals (for example that a page was loaded, with the browser type), which Google uses only for aggregate modelling.

The three buttons of the cookie choice (accept all, reject all, choose) carry the same weight, and no optional switch is ticked in advance. Rejecting does not limit the shop in any way: you can browse, order and contact us exactly as before.

6How to change or withdraw your choice

Use the "Cookie settings" control in the footer of any page, or the button below. It opens the cookie choice again, with your current settings, and the new choice applies from that moment. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it and does not affect what happened before.

Switching advertising off stops the tags from setting or reading cookies, but cookies already saved remain in your browser until they expire or you delete them. To remove them at once, clear the cookies for this site in your browser settings.

7Browser controls

Every browser lets you see, block and delete cookies and site data, usually under Settings, then Privacy or Site data. You can delete the entries listed on this page at any time. If you delete mks_consent_v1, the cookie choice will be shown again on your next visit. Private or incognito windows discard everything when they are closed.

Google and Meta also offer their own advert settings inside your account with them, where you can limit personalised advertising across all sites.

Write to help@marketsaves.com or use the contact form. If the list above changes, we update this page and its date, and, where a new optional category is added, we ask for your choice again.
