1Where we deliver

MarketSaves delivers to home and work addresses in ten EU countries: Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Romania, Bulgaria, Spain, Portugal. Orders are placed in English on this site and the delivery itself is made by a carrier that works in your country.

If you live in another EU member state, choose "Other EU country" in the order form. We tell you on the confirmation call whether we can deliver to your address and how long it will take (usually 5–7 working days in transit). We do not deliver outside the European Union, to PO boxes or to parcel lockers, because the courier has to collect payment from a person.

2Delivery charge

Delivery costs a flat 4,99 € per order, to every country listed here, whatever the size of the parcel and however many items it contains. The charge includes VAT.

The charge is shown on the product page and again in the order summary, where the total (price × quantity + delivery) appears before you confirm. That total is the amount the courier collects. There are no customs duties or import fees, because parcels travel inside the EU.

3The confirmation call

After you send the order form, a customer service agent phones the number you gave, normally within one working day. The call checks three things: that the order is really yours, that the address is complete, and that the total is clear to you. Nothing is shipped before this call.

We try several times over two working days. If we cannot reach you, the order is cancelled and nothing is owed. You can also change or cancel the order during the call at no cost.

4Handling and transit times by country

Handling takes 1–2 working days from the confirmation call: that is the time we need to pick, check and pack the order and hand it to the carrier. Transit then takes 3–7 working days, depending on the country. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in the country of dispatch and in your country.

All figures are working days. "Order to door" adds 1–2 days of handling to the transit time and counts from the confirmation call, not from the moment the form is sent.

These times are estimates we expect to meet, not fixed appointments. Remote areas and islands can add one or two working days. If an order has not been delivered within 30 days of the confirmation call, you may cancel it and you owe nothing; see the Terms of Sale.

5Carriers and tracking

Parcels are delivered by local partners: the national postal operator or an established parcel courier in your country, chosen by destination and parcel size. The carrier is one that offers cash collection at the door.

When the parcel is handed over to the carrier you receive its name and the tracking number by SMS or by email, if you gave an email address. Most carriers also send their own message on the morning of delivery, often with a time window. If no tracking details have reached you three working days after the confirmation call, write to us and we will look the parcel up.

6Paying at the door

Payment is cash on delivery only. You pay the courier the total shown in your order summary, in cash, when the parcel is handed to you. Please have the amount ready, as close to exact as you can: couriers carry little change.

You do not pay anything before delivery. We never ask for a deposit, a card number or a bank transfer, by phone, SMS or email. If someone does so in our name, do not pay and tell us.

Check the parcel

Look at the outer packaging before you pay. If the box is crushed, torn or opened, you can refuse it, or accept it and ask the courier to note the damage. Either way, write to us the same day. See Returns and Refunds for what happens next.

7If nobody is at home

The courier leaves a notice or sends a message and normally makes a second attempt on the next working day. Depending on the carrier, the parcel may instead be held at a local depot or post office for collection for a few days; the notice says where and for how long. You pay on collection in the same way.

You can ask the carrier, using the link in its message, to deliver on another day or to a different address in the same country. If the parcel is not delivered or collected in the end, it comes back to us and the order is cancelled. We do not charge for a parcel you never received, but repeated refused or uncollected parcels may lead us to decline future cash-on-delivery orders from the same address or phone number.

8Late, lost or incomplete parcels

The goods are at our risk until they are handed to you or to a person you have named. If the tracking stops moving for more than three working days, or the delivery window in the table has passed, contact us at help@marketsaves.com with your order reference. We trace the parcel with the carrier and, if it is lost, send a replacement or cancel the order, as you prefer. Since nothing was paid, there is nothing to refund.

If something is missing from the parcel, or the wrong item is inside, tell us within a few days of delivery with a photo of the contents and the label. We send the missing or correct item at our cost.
